It can also set the folders to be “Read-only”, meaning that their contents can be viewed, but cannot be modified.

For an additional layer of security, the access to this application can be restricted by using password-protection. Only those knowing the set password will be able to open this program and see the folders that are hidden or locked. The application is also completely portable, meaning that it can be open and used from a USB stick.

This tool comes with many other handy additional features, including support for hotkeys, command-line interface or context menu integration. The application also allows configuring certain applications (“trusted apps”) to be excluded from the folder protection settings. Last but not least, it’s an easy-to-use tool that comes with a simple and straightforward interface.
